Polymarket’s verified ‘community moderator’ bankrolled the wallets that answered his own bets

Car (@CarOnPolymarket) bets on Polymarket questions. Money from his wallet built and fed the main wallet that proposed the official answers to those questions, and he held the answer being proposed most of the time.

His wallet also sent 39,299 USDC.e directly and 899,389 USDC.e through Polymarket’s bridge to a separate wallet that proposes the official answers to Polymarket questions through UMA, the system that decides who wins. Eight wallets linked to Car filed them on UMA’s oracle for Polymarket between 15 Jun 2024 and 3 Sep 2026: the oracle wallet and seven more. Car’s wallet traded 212 of those 264 markets. At 154 of the 235 proposals it already held the side being proposed; at 8, the opposite side. W9’s link to Car is strong but indirect: its last transaction sent its whole balance, 516.8 USDC.e, to Car’s wallet, and no transaction signed by Car’s key reaches it.
